Nasarawa LP Guber Candidate Adopts PDP’s Dr. Umbugadu.

PDP Promises to run a joint government.

Labour Party (LP) Governorship candidate Engr. Joseph Ewuga on Wednesday stepped down for the Peoples Democratic Party PDP Governorship candidate Dr. David E. Umbugadu.

This took place at the residence of former Minister of Information and Defence, Labaran Maku in Akpata, Akun development Area, Nasarawa Eggon LGA of Nasarawa State.

Mr Maku who frist briefed the press said both candidates decided to come together to form an alliance to rescue Nasarawa State from bad governance and leadership, he made this known while flanked by the Labour party states chairman and the PDP States Secretary, Comr. Alex Ombugus and Chief Adamu Bako Ninga who both represented their parties. Adding that they would run a joint government, if the PDP emerges victorious.

On their parts, LP Governorship candidate, Engr. Joseph Ewuga, said he decided to step down for his brother for the best interest of the state, there by urging his supporters to vote massively for Dr. Umbugadu’s PDP come Saturday, 11th March 2023.

Meanwhile Dr. Umbugadu said it is a welcomed idea, owing to the fact that Labour Party and PDP at the national level are working together. He also used the opportunity to call on the public, that with this development, all hands should be on deck to unseat the ruling party, which has caused hardship on the good people of Nasarawa State.
