Royal Ace kept the fire burning as promised having defeated Plateau Rocks 44-53 in the ongoing first Leg of the Nigeria Basketball Federation NBBF Leagues Zenith Women’s Basketball League at Lafia Sports Arena, formerly known as Lafia City Hall, Nasarawa State Wednesday 4th September 2024.

Despite Royal Ace been forced to committing various fowls which almost cost them the second half, coach Olusegun Ojo promised to block the loop holes ” We played an experienced team who changed their tactics time to time and we had to call for time-out to handle the changes which slowed us down… We had short time to prepare for this phase which mostly affect us in the second half, however we are going to work on that.”

For coach Zammeh Hilshap of Plateau Rocks , his building a stronger team on the Plateau ” We have been playing experience teams and today is no different, for a rookie team like mine, however i see great improvement, my Girl’s gave thier best”.

So far, Royal Ace has won two games out of three and Plateau Rocks one .
