Poor convertion of lay-ups costs Home team Nasarawa Amazon’s thier Match against Kada Angels, as Nigeria Customs made it rain against Plateau Rocks on Match Day2 in the ongoing NBBF Leagues Zenith Women’s Basketball League on Tuesday 3rd September, 2024 at Lafia City Hall , Lafia Nasarawa State, venue for all Savannah Teams.

Despite the win Coach Mohammed was visibly vexed , saying his Girls gave cheap Balls to Plateau Rock’s.
“Our target is to play on the continent , we can’t be playing like this and expect to do well on the continent, no doubt we respect our opponents, but we can do better “

On his part, Coach Boka said his team met an experience side. ” Most of the Girls are new to the team and we got them from the grassroot, despite the win we had against Kada Angels (61-44) on day-1 , taking on the Customs team was a good test for the Girls.”

The Third match of the day saw home team Nasarawa Amazon’s lose to Kada Angels by 48-53.

Despite the Amazon Ladies playing good basketball, thier lay-ups was the undoing of the team and Kada Angels took advantage of the turnovers .

Reacting to the defeat, coach Emmanuel Danjuma Mwarak of Nasarawa Amazon’s said his Girls are majorly rookies playing in the league for the first time. ” Is true my girls were really poor in their finishing, however we have spotted the loop holes, which we intend to perfect against an experience Customs team on Wednesday who are having two of our former players.”
