Gov. Umaru Fintiri Wins Adamawa Governship Election.

The Independent National Electoral Commission INEC has declared the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP Umaru Fintiri winner of the governorship election in Adamawa State.

Fintiri emerged winner after scoring 430,861 votes to defeat his closest rival Aishatu Binani Dahiru of the All Progressives Congress APC who scored 398,788 votes.

The Returning Officer Mohammed Mele announced the winner this evening after collation of results from the supplementary election held on Saturday last week.
