Aliyu Isa Of Mikang United FC A Player To Watchout For

The game of Football speaks all languages and in that language, it brings out the best of players.

Lets delve into grassroot football where Mikang Local Government Council (LGC) of plateau state, Nigeria, deemed it fit to have a football club to unearth talents and take the mind of Youths from social vices.

Early this year, Mikang United which was formed 4th July, 2023 got it’s first major trophy by winning the Economic community of West African State (ECOWAS) U-20 Inter Football Tournament, organized by Sanderbee Ventures, Accra, Ghana.

The tournament which was staged from 9-15 January 2024, saw five teams Togo, Benin Republic, host Ghana, Burkina Faso and Nigeria represented by Mikang United.

Nigeria won by defeating all opponents, Nigeria 1-0 Togo, Nigeria 3-0 Benin Republic, Nigeria 2-0 Ghana and final Nigeria 2-0 Burkina Faso

One player who stood out in aidding Mikang to lift the trophy was Aliyu Isa, age 18 who recorded Four goals and Four assist in four games .

Aliyu Isa a Right Forward player who uses both feet’s , however his strongest is Right.

Through out the ECOWAS tournament, the 18 year old mesmerized his opponents with pace and game maturity .

Aliyu Isa is currently in Belgium on trial with one of the country’s top club Royal Antwerp .

Meanwhile the Mikang United FC Team Manager Lot Andrew says Aliyu Isa is one player to watch out for and his happy individuals in the Local Government are begining to see the idea of forming the club, more so the club and are wishing Aliyu Isa the best of luck and praying he get signed.
