NYG: Am Yet To Unleash My Power 12 Year Old Nasarawa Boxer Says After Knocking Out Enugu Counterpart

Yusuf Abduallhi has advanced to the Boxing quarterfinals 42kg category after the referee Stopped the Contest (RSC) in the third round.

Yusuf Abduallhi showed his dominance from round one over his Enugu counterpart Maxwell Aniwake at St.Patrick College Asaba Delta State where Boxing is taking Place, in the on going 8th National Sports Youth Games, tagged Asaba 2024.

Right from the sound of the bell, Yusuf Abduallhi who had earlier bragged about his Power on the Canvas, put it into good use by unleashing a barrage of punches on Aniwake, which force the referee to pause the bout and counted to eight to make sure Aniwake was fit to continue.

In the second round, Aniwake thought he got his game plan, when he started with a quick one-two combination of punches, however Abduallhi absorbed it, thereby tiring his opponent and inturn released sequence of punches as well.

Abduallhi dominance in the third round continued and it forced Aniwake corner to throw in the towel and the referee immediately stopping the bout.

Yusuf Abduallhi while reacting to his first ever bout as a Boxer said “I feeling happy boxing, am yet to unleash my power, I will do that in the Final, my coach (Nnamdi Osuji) trained me well and I believe I will beat my next opponent”

Yusuf Abduallhi who has advanced to the quater final will be fighting tomorrow (Sunday) 15 September, 2024

To be recall, Usman Musa , team Nasarawa other boxer, lost his 44kg bout to Roqeeb Ojakojo from Ogun on Friday.
