Security Operative To Go After Cybercriminals (Yahoo Yahoo) In Akwanga, Decongest Roundabout and Tackle Farmers /Herders Clash— Chairman Safiyanu Isa Andaha

Chairman Akwanga LGC Mr Safiyanu Isa Andaha has said there will be no hiding place for criminals and the issue of Farmers Herders clashes would be addressed head-on.

The council chairman made this known on Tuesday at a closed door security meeting in his office with various security agencies comprising, police, Army, Paramilitary, Religious bodies, Youth organizations, among others who attended.

Giving a break down on how to tackle insecurity in the LG while addressing the media, Hon Safiyanu said a committee has been set up to look into the affairs of influx of Cybercriminals popularly know as “Yahoo Yahoo”, address Farmer herders clashes since the rain is here and lastly among others decongest the roundabout in Akwanga, headquarters of Akwanga LGA.

“But I want to assure you that there are two specific areas we are concentrating on,
Firstly we are approaching the raining season now so remember the Farmers Herders clashes , we constituted a committee to ensure we don’t have any issue, secondly there is the Cybercrime we notice in Akwanga, and these people are coming from Keffi and Abuja, the committee has been tasked to take drastic measures to make sure they are pushed out of Akwanga, that’s an assurance from me”

When asked on what his administration is doing to support security Operative in Akwanga, he said, he has been doing a lot which he wouldn’t state all in the media , however of recent his administration has supported the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corp (NSCDC) in construction of an armory building which would house weapons of the corp from Akwanga, Wamba and Nasarawa Eggon.

“Yes of course you know the Zonal office of civil defense was establish here (Akwanga) and their office is here and ordinary they should have an armory department where they can operate, so I think as a LG it is important to assist because they will add in the security of the LG, so the construction of the Amory is 95% completed”

On his part, the Chun Mada Pst Samson Gamu Yare, applauded Mr Safiyanu Isa Andaha for the security meeting stating that it’s apt and timing to nip in the bud crime and criminality due to the influx of various individuals into Akwanga LG, for supporting NSCDC in construction of an armory building and for being proactive to tackle farmers herders clashes.
