Youth Assembly Of Nigeria (YAN) Inaugurate’s New LG Speakers In Nasarawa State.… Appoints Former States Assembly Speaker As Patron

The Youth Assembly of Nigeria, (YAN) Wednesday, has formally appointed the former Speaker of Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Musa Ahmed Muhammad as its State Patron.

The appointment is as a result of his vase legislative experience, commitment towards youth development and nation building.

Hon.Musa Ahmed Muhammad appointment took place after the Youth Assembly of Nigeria, Nasarawa State Chapter inaugurated it’s newly elected Speakers of thirteen(13) Local Government Areas of the State, which took place at the Conference Hall of De 1st Crown Luxury Hotel, Lafia.

The national Speaker of the assembly Hon. Shaibu Sani who doubles as an aide to the Nasarawa State Governor on Youths Affairs, charged the newly inaugurated YAN speakers, who would Serve in office for two years, to carry all members along, he also used the occasion to appreciate the state governor Engr Abdullahi Sule and the ministry of Youths and Sports development for the continuous support towards programmes and activities of the Assembly.

“We convey our utmost appreciation to the Governor and Government of Nasarawa State, His Excellency, Engr Abdullahi Alhaji Sule for the continuous support towards the programmes and activities of the Assembly. We also appreciate the Commissioner of Youth and Sports Development, Hon Jaafaru Ango and the Permanent Secretary, Barr Isaac Danladi for doing everything humanly possible to see to the success of the event. We can’t thank you enough for the continuous guidance and solidarity. Together, we shall work round the clock to exceed all expectations. “

The Speakers of the thirteen(13) Local Government Areas inaugurated are as follows :

Awe : Hashimu Musa Tafida
Doma : Jude Ochepo Osewu
Keffi : Ridwan Ramalan Madaki
Kokona : Emmanuel T. Danjuma
Keana : Jibrin Aliyu Elayo

The event had in attendance the State Chairman of NYCN, Comr Jaafar M. Loko, State Speaker of YAN, Rt Hon Ovye WakiAbimiku, State DSP, Comr Ramalan Abubakar Aminu, State Secretary of NYCN, Comr Akolo David Alaku, among others.
