CSTSS, RINZE AKWANGA, NASARAWA STATE GRADUATES FIRST SET OF STUDENTS.

Command Science and Technical Secondary School (CSTSS), Rinze-Akwanga, Nasarawa state, on July 29th, 2023 made a stellar achievement after successfully graduating it’s first set of students.
The Commandant, Lt. Col Zando Danjuma, expressed his delight for achieving such a milestone within the first six years of the schools establishment.
While delivering his address, the Commandant urged the graduands to always exhibit the tenets of what they have learnt in the school, applauding them for their zeal, patience, sacrifices and doggedness in their educational pursuit throughout their stay in the school.
He however promised to continue to seek for interventions from the Army headquarters when necessary, Nasarawa State Government, relevant stakeholders and PTA to provide the needed infrastructural facilities in the school in the interest of the students.
He appreciated the invited guests and all that were present for their support and partnership to take CSTSS Rinze-Akwanga to greater heights.
In his paper presentation titled “the gold in the gutter, finding the true worth of our children”, the guest speaker, Col. JB. Ajanaku (Rtd), counseled the students to pursue their goals with determination.
The Special Guest of Honour, His Excellency Engr AA Sule the Executive Governor of Nasarawa State, represented by Hon. Safiyanu Isah Andaha, Chairman, Akwanga local government Area, expressed happiness at the manner at which the Nigerian Army, the Commandant and the staff of the school were grooming and nurturing the students. He promised continuous partnership between the State Government and the school.
Speaking on behalf of the graduating class of 2023, Miss Mary Samari appreciated the school management for the training and knowledge they have received. She admonished her colleagues to live above board and be good ambassadors of the school.
Dignitaries at the graduation ceremony include; Hon Safiyanu Isa, Chairman Akwanga LGA, who served as the representative of Governor Abdullahi Sule, Commander AHQ Garrison Maj. Gen. KO Isoni, Brig. Gen. SM Dagari, Director AHQ Garrison Educational Services Brig. Gen. UM Mamadi, HRH Alhaji Yusuf Anwe (Chun Ngah) amongst others.
The maiden graduation ceremony had dignitaries, invited guests, well-wishers, parents as well as friends of the graduating students in attendance.
Highlights of the occasion was, cultural dances, display and presentations by the students, presentation of awards and prizes to deserving students and staff, souvenirs to invited guests, unveiling of the 2nd Edition of the creative Star magazine, unveiling of a book ‘Knowing Yourself’ written by Miss Juliet Kandegyan one of the graduating students and commissioning of the legacy project executed by the graduating class of 2023, A group photograph of the graduating class and dignitaries at the photostand.
